Aggregation & source selection
Alto indexes publicly available RSS and news feeds from mainstream, independent, and alternative publishers across the political spectrum. We select sources for relevance, publishing consistency, and reader interest. Inclusion of a source is not an endorsement of its reporting, and the views expressed in aggregated articles are those of the original publisher.
Attribution & original sources
Every story on Alto credits its original publisher by name and links back to the source article. We show summaries and excerpts to help readers decide what to read in full, and we always direct readers to the publisher for the complete report. We do not claim authorship of aggregated reporting.
AI analysis
Some stories include an AI-generated analysis produced by Gab AI. This analysis adds context, related coverage, and background. It is clearly labeled as AI-generated, may contain errors, and should not be treated as original reporting or as a substitute for reading the source. AI analysis can reflect a stated editorial perspective; see our About pagefor more on Alto's point of view.
Accuracy & corrections
Because Alto aggregates third-party reporting, the accuracy of any individual article is the responsibility of its original publisher. Where Alto's own summaries, analysis, or metadata contain errors, we correct them promptly. To report a problem, see our Corrections policy.
Independence & ownership
Alto is operated by Gab AI Inc. We are transparent about this ownership. Commercial relationships, advertising, or shop placements never determine which stories are surfaced or how they are analyzed.
Privacy
Alto requires no account and is built to minimize tracking. Read more in the Privacy Policy.
