The timeline covers the stories in Alto's index, which is built continuously from the publishers Alto tracks. Long-running topics return months of coverage, while a brand-new story will show only the hours since it broke.

Why do some searches return no results?

The search matches words in headlines and article summaries. Very broad terms, misspellings, or topics no tracked publisher has covered will come back empty. Try a more specific name or phrase.

Are the articles hosted on Alto?
