One of the best 2-in-1 Chromebooks is almost $200 off for today only

Most Chromebooks ship with only 8GB of RAM, which is enough for some people, but certainly not enough for me. Multitaskers who want more memory in their next Chromebook should check out Best Buy, which is discounting Acer’s Chromebook Plus Spin 514 for the remainder of the day. Originally $749 for the configuration with 12GB of RAM, a MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, and 256GB of UFS storage, it’s down to $559 right now. It’s a good price for what we consider to be one of the best Chromebooks you can currently buy.

My colleague Antonio G. Di Benedetto had a lot of nice things to say about this model in his October 2025 review. He praised the capabilities of its Arm-based processor, which is uncommon for a Chromebook review, as well as its day-plus battery life. The Spin 514 is great to use as a laptop, with a tactile keyboard and satisfying mechanical trackpad, but its 14-inch 1920 x 1200 120Hz IPS touchscreen can bend backwards to be used as a tablet. No stylus is included, but you can use any USI 2.0 stylus you’d like.

If you want to know about other good discounted options, Lenovo’s Chromebook Plus 14 that Antonio likes a bit more is $649 (originally $999) at Best Buy. While it has the same processor and storage amount, it’s the model to buy instead if you want a little more RAM (16GB), an OLED screen, superior speakers, and fingerprint biometric support.

• Anker’s 140W wall charger with three USB-C ports and a USB-A port is selling at an especially low price at eBay via Best Buy’s seller page. The charger costs $55.99 (originally $79.99). Meanwhile, it’s $79.99 for Prime members at Amazon, but includes a USB-C cable whereas the Best Buy option doesn’t. One of the most notable traits of this charger — its downward facing ports that reduce its sag in the outlet — has become common since it launched early last year. The silver charger can deliver up to 140W through two of its USB-C ports when a single device is plugged in. It automatically splits the power depending on how many gadgets you have plugged in.
• If you’re a Sam’s Club member, or perhaps may soon become one, you can get $100 in digital Nintendo gift cards for $79.98. You can purchase up to five, which is enough to buy a bunch of games and accessories through Nintendo, or even a console. It’ll cost you $400 to get $500 worth of credit, meaning you can save on a Switch 2 console if you want to stack the savings to their maximum. The Switch 2 will increase in price starting in September, rising from $449.99 to $499.99, so if you’re on the fence, buying one sooner than later is a wise choice.
• Many of Logitech’s recent PC accessories can connect wirelessly via 2.4GHz to its Bolt receiver. Whether you lost your old one, or perhaps you want to upgrade to the newer USB-C version of the Bolt receiver that’s included with the MX Master 4 mouse, Amazon and Walmart have USB-C Bolt receivers available at just over half off. Originally $14.99, they’re $7.24, making it less expensive to grab a spare to connect your devices to. If you want to pair your device to a new Bolt receiver, you’ll need to do that through Logitech’s Options Plus app on desktop PC.
